The SRWRTA is a unit group of local volunteer first responders who became PA certified water rescue instructors to volunteer their time and weekends to teach and train their fellow fireman they are located throughout your local region of Montgomery and Berks County. The purpose of the association shall be to provide instructional education, networking, fellowship, to discuss mutual problems, share experiences, establish uniform standards in the instruction of the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission water rescue programs, acting as the direct employee/agent instructors on their behalf As well as and offer support and recommendations to the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. Our mission is to promote water and ice rescue training for fire and rescue department personnel.
